Club registrations for new and returning members open 1 August 2026.
Age Group information
Age groups are determined by your child’s age as of 31 December each season, in accordance with NSW Athletics guidelines. For example, if your child is 8 years old on 31 December, they will compete in the Under 9 age group for the entire season.

Family discounts
Families registering multiple nomembers are eligible for a discounted club fee:
- 1st member:Full fee
- 2nd member:20% discount
- 3rd member:40% discount
- 4th member:40% discount
- 5th member:40% discount
Note: To receive the family discount, all members must be registered at the same time. After completing the first registration, you will be prompted to add another member. Select YES if you are registering more than one family member.
Trial nights
We know that trying something new can be a big step, so we offer families the opportunity to experience athletics before committing to a full registration. Your child can participate in up to two Friday night competition sessions to see what athletics is all about. The fee for this trial is $30.
This season our trial nights will be Friday 18 September and Friday 25 September.

The cost for the two trial nights on 18th and 25th September is $30 per child. This fee includes either one trial night or both trial nights. The $30 is payable at the registration desk on the first trial night via cash or card. If you decide to register your child for the season, the $30 will be refunded at registration collection after the online registration has been finalised.
Please note that we are only offering the two advertised dates in September for trial nights unless one of the trial nights is cancelled due to bad weather. If this is the case, a new date will be confirmed.
On your first trial night, please report to the registration desk at 5.30 pm. Once you have filled out the paperwork and paid the trialist fee, your child will meet their age manager and age group at 5.45 pm ready for the warm-up. The main program will commence at 6.00 pm and run for approximately 2 hours (depending on the age group and program). Our weekly programs can be viewed via the following link: Weekly programs

Parent Duties for the 2026/27 season
Firstly, thank you to the many families who regularly volunteer. Your support helps make each competition night possible and creates a great experience for all athletes. However, there is still an ongoing challenge of filling parent duty rosters on Friday nights.
With around 21 competition nights each season, families are asked to complete a maximum of seven rostered duties. We encourage everyone to get involved where they can. Volunteering is a valuable way to support the club and be part of your child’s athletics journey.
To address this issue and provide flexibility, the 2026/27 Committee has decided that families can choose to opt out of Friday night duties by paying a $300 family fee upfront at the start of the season. (This fee excludes duties for Zone, Region and State Championships).
Families who don’t opt out and fail to complete their allocated duties will have end-of-season trophy points deducted for each missed duty. If the opt out fee is not paid, points may not be calculated.
The choice is simple: complete your duties OR pay to opt out.
Funds raised through the opt out program will be used to pay our 15 to 20 year old athletes to assist with Friday night competitions.
Please note: Duty requirements and the opt out fee do not apply to Tots and Under 6 families.
The payment can be paid directly upon registration, or at registration bib collection and must be paid before collecting bib and registration documents.
Please note a family member must always be in attendance on a Friday night with their child/children no matter whether they have duties or not.
