{"id":58,"date":"2018-07-09T00:45:32","date_gmt":"2018-07-08T14:45:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cherrybrookathletics.org.au\/?page_id=58"},"modified":"2024-08-31T01:49:11","modified_gmt":"2024-08-31T01:49:11","slug":"little-athletics","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.cherrybrookathletics.org.au\/index.php\/little-athletics\/","title":{"rendered":"Little Athletics"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Little Athletics at Cherrybrook<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The principal aim of our Centre is to provide fun, friendship and fitness through athletics competition for all\u00a0\u00a0members in a family atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cherrybrook Little Athletics is for registered athletes who<strong> turn a minimum of 3 years old in the starting year of the registration season and a maximum of 16 years old in the year of registration.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the Little Athletics <strong>Summer\u00a0<\/strong>season (September through to March) our centre runs\u00a0a<strong> Friday evening program, from 5.45 pm to around 8.15 pm<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>at\u00a0<a class=\"customize-unpreviewable\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cherrybrookathletics.org.au\/index.php\/location-2\/\" rel=\"noreferrer\">Greenway Park Oval #2, Cherrybrook.<\/a> <\/strong>Some optional events are held before and after the main program.<\/p>\n<p>Our Summer Program operates on a\u00a0<strong>rotating\u00a0<\/strong><strong>3 week program<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to our Friday night competitions, Little Athletics also offers the opportunity to compete against other clubs at various\u00a0LANSW and ANSW competitions during the season:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"style16\"><span class=\"style41\">State Relay Championships<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Zone Championships<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"style45\">Regional Championships<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"style45\">State Championships<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"auto-style5\">Australian Little Athletics Championships (U13 age group plus gold and silver medalists from the\u00a0U15 State Multi\u00a0)\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"style45\">State Multi-Event Championships<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"style45\">State Cross-Country &amp; Road Walk Championships<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"auto-style8\">Trans Tasman Athletics Tour (U11 and U12 age groups)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information please see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cherrybrookathletics.org.au\/index.php\/la-championships\/\">Little Athletics Championships<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Centre is operated on a non-profit basis, and aside from our qualified coaches,\u00a0operated entirely by parents and family members on a voluntary basis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cherrybrookathletics.org.au\/index.php\/little-athletics\/\">Top<\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cherrybrookathletics.org.au\/\">Home<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Little Athletics at Cherrybrook\u00a0 The principal aim of our Centre is to provide fun, friendship and fitness through athletics competition for all\u00a0\u00a0members in a family atmosphere.
