Cherrybrook Senior and Little Athletics Centre Inc. is affiliated with both Little Athletics Association of NSW and Athletics NSW. Our Centre is operated on a non-profit basis, and aside from our qualified coaches, we are operated entirely by parents and family members on a voluntary basis. Any athlete interested in competing, as long as they are five (5) years or older by the 30th September and are registered with us, can compete at the Cherrybrook centre, subject to any limitations placed by the Centre Committee on overall registrations for the season.

The principal aim of our Centre is to provide fun and fitness through athletics competition for all of our members in a family atmosphere. Our Centre runs each Friday evening, from 5.45pm to around 8.00pm, during the Summer athletics season (September through to March) at Greenway Park Oval #2, Cherrybrook, with Winter Cross Country competition held between April and August.

Our Centre program operates on a rotating 3 week program. The Centre also competes at various Little Athletics carnivals during the season and besides Friday evening competition, Senior athletes can compete in numerous Athletic NSW related events during the season. Two official registration days are held in August each year at the Clubroom at Greenway Oval #2, Shepherds Drive, Cherrybrook. Dates are notified each season on this website and in local newspapers.

Cherrybrook Athletics commenced in 1994 as a Little Athletics Centre, with competition open to U6's through to U15's. From the 2001/2002 season Senior athletes (U16's and above) have also been able to compete on a Friday evening, after our affiliation with Athletics NSW. In the 2008/2009 season, the U17 age group was added to the LA group.
